Pupil Voice
The term 'Pupil Voice' describes how children give their input to what happens within the school and the classroom. Our desire is for children to know that their expertise, opinions and ideas are valued in all aspects of school life.
Pupil Voice permeates all levels of our work together, from children participating in small group classroom conversations to students establishing procedures, events and contributing to the overarching ethos of the school through our various pupil councils and the House system. Charity events, the school's wellbeing zone, hiding books in the community and many other initiatives have come about from the suggestions pupils have made.
'I love being in Community Crew- we get to help children at the preschool and even got to hide books for people in Frimley to find. Helping people makes me so happy.' Year 5 pupil
Our school council is organised into 9 teams who meet regularly with their link teacher and are also supported by our Year 6 House Captains, School Ambassadors and Head Pupils.
