Year 5

Experience Days
There are a variety of themed days throughout the year across all year groups where specialists are invited in to provide further enhancement to the curriculum.  Such days include WW2 day and Greek day.

Residential Visits

Residential visits are actively promoted and well supported. The majority of children in the lower school currently take advantage of opportunities to go on a residential journey to the Leeson House Field Study Centre (History & Environmental Studies). The residential visit in the upper school combines National Curriculum-linked modules with thrilling outdoor and indoor adventure activities. The children spend 5 days at the PGL centre in Liddington. Each day is very full and focuses on transition and team building with the start of a new school year in mind, as well as celebrating the end of Year 6.
